Stuffed Sausages with Bacon

Method:

1. Cook onion in butter slowly until softened
2. Add to breadcrumbs and herbs, Mix well
3. Season lightly
4. Cut a pocket along the sausage.
5. Place 1-2 teaspoons of bread stuffing in the pocket.
6. Wrap a streaky rasher around stuffed sausage and secure with cocktail stick.
7. Place on a non-stick cooking tray.
8. Cook in a hot oven gas mark 6 (180c) for approx 25/30 minutes.
9. Remove cocktail stick before serving

Use smoked rashers or flavoured stuffing to vary.

  • 8 Jumbo Sausages
  • Streaky Bacon
  • 1oz of butter
  • Pepper & Salt
  • 3oz Bread Crumbs
  • Small Onion chopped finely
  • Fresh Herbs(Parsley & Thyme)
